The Kind Words Colouring Book is a printable PDF for children aged 3 to 6 and their grown-ups. On each page, Bibiru the sun bear cub and his friends Pipit, Oyen and Lompi share one kind word or phrase, from hello and please to sorry, thank you and I love you.

Your child gets 20 gentle colouring pages, each with a short, simple scene to read aloud. They wave hello with Bibiru, say thank you with Oyen, share berries with Pipit and try again with the whole group. Simple Mandarin words appear on many pages, such as 你好 (nǐ hǎo), 谢谢 (xièxie), 请 (qǐng), 对不起 (duìbuqǐ) and 我爱你 (wǒ ài nǐ), with pinyin to help you say them together.

Take one or two pages at a time. Read the lines slowly, pause so your child can repeat the kind word, then colour together. Each page includes a short tip for grown-ups on using that word during the day. There is no right or wrong way to colour. Every scribble is a happy try.
